PRIVATE ONE-TO-ONE CLASSES

I have many one-to-one private classes in the studio and client's home (on request).
Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. He wrote a book "Return to Life through Contrology" which laid out the principles of pilates which have since been modified to reflect more recent scientific understanding of physiology and exercise.
Modified Pilates builds strength and improves flexibility,and develops control and endurance in the entire body but is focused on "the core" which comprises the deep muscles of the abdomen, low back, pelvis and diaphragm. It is effective in promoting better balance and stability as well as supporting the strength and rehabilitation of the pelvic floor before and after birth.
I deliver modified Pilates using the principles of APPI teaching as a form of movement therapy in a range of modified Pilates classes, both individual and group, at different levels, from beginners to advanced as a part of rehabilitation or adjacent to an athlete's training. I am an APPI Master Trainer and apart from running Pilates classes, I also present and run APPI Pilates educational courses for healthcare professionals.
